Salt Lake Community College (SLCC) is seeking qualified contractors for preventive maintenance and testing of its medium-voltage electrical infrastructure at the Taylorsville Redwood Campus. - Government Buyer: - Salt Lake Community College (SLCC), Higher Education Department - OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers): - Eaton - G&W Electric - Cooper (Eaton/Cooper Power Systems) - GE (General Electric) - Products/Equipment to be Serviced: - Eaton PadMount VFI Vacuum Switches (35 kV) - Eaton 600A Vacuum Switches (SF1, SF2, SF3) - G&W VRPVI SF6 Switches (multiple part numbers, 35 kV) - Cooper VFI SF6 Switch (35 kV) - GE Multilin SR750 Feeder Management Relays - Digital Multifunction Meters - Pad-mounted and dry-type transformers (various kVA ratings) - Load break switches and branch circuit feeders - Quantities: - 1-3 units per equipment type, across multiple campus buildings - Services Requested: - Comprehensive preventive maintenance, inspection, and testing of all listed equipment - Compliance with NETA ATS/MTS, NFPA 70E, IEEE standards, and SLCC safety protocols - Completion of inspection sheets for each equipment item - Notable Requirements: - Contractor must hold a valid electrical contractor license for medium-voltage work - Minimum 5 years of substation maintenance experience - NETA testing certification and medium voltage termination training required - All work must be completed within 45 days of contract award - Award will be made to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder meeting all requirements

Salt Lake Community College (SLCC) is seeking qualified and licensed medium-voltage electrical contractors to perform comprehensive preventive maintenance, inspection, and testing services on medium-voltage electrical infrastructure at the Taylorsville Redwood Campus. The work aims to ensure safe, reliable, and compliant operation of SLCC's medium-voltage distribution system. This Invitation for Bid will result in a single contract awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible vendor meeting all mandatory minimum requirements. The College may choose not to proceed with the procurement after reviewing submitted responses.
