Description
BC Timber Sales (BCTS), a program within the Ministry of Forests, is seeking proposals from qualified and experienced firms to provide professional terrain stability and geoscience services in support of BCTS forest road engineering and timber sale development programs within Coastal British Columbia. Services include terrain stability field assessments, identification and assessment of terrain hazards related to timber harvesting and forest road construction, emergency terrain stability response, terrain risk assessments, construction inspections, remediation recommendations, and specialized assessments such as karst evaluations. The contractor will work in various environments, including remote locations, supporting safety, environmental protection, regulatory compliance, and sustainable development of Crown timber resources. The contract duration is 12 months, and services will be provided on both planned and as-needed bases across multiple BCTS and Ministry of Forests offices.
