The U.S. Air Force, 56th Civil Engineer Squadron at Luke Air Force Base, is seeking a contractor for a comprehensive HVAC chemical water treatment program covering hydronic heating and cooling systems. - Government Buyer: - U.S. Air Force, 56th Civil Engineer Squadron, Luke Air Force Base - Scope of Work: - Full-service chemical water treatment for hydronic heating and cooling systems, including open and closed loop systems, cooling towers, boilers, and a 500,000-gallon thermal storage tank - Ancillary equipment cleaning, maintenance, calibration, and repair - Initial equipment surveys, chemical cleaning, daily/weekly testing, and annual treatment - Annual testing of Building 547 cold water thermal storage - Monthly reporting and compliance with environmental and security requirements - Contractor must have at least 10 years of experience - All work must comply with current ASHRAE Standards - Products/Services Requested: - Chemical water treatment services (multiple annual service lots) - Parts reimbursement for related maintenance and repairs - Notable Requirements: - Government-furnished equipment includes conductivity controllers and pumps - Security clearance processing may take up to 180 days - Emphasis on small business participation - No specific OEMs, brands, or part numbers are specified in the solicitation - Place of performance is Luke Air Force Base, Arizona

Description

This is for the service of chemical water treatment of hydronic heating and cooling systems. The contractor will provide a full service HVAC chemical water treatment program, including ancillary equipment cleaning service, and all management, labor, material, parts, equipment, transportation, and tools necessary to maintain, service, calibrate, and repair equipment identified herein and in accordance with the most recent publication of ASHRAE Standards. The systems to be treated, serviced, and cleaned consist of open and closed loop cooling/condenser water systems, open and closed loop chilled water systems, and closed-loop hot water systems.
