This opportunity seeks qualified small businesses to replace HVAC systems at Buildings 590 and 591 on Joint Base San Antonio-Fort Sam Houston (JBSA-FSH), Texas. - Government Buyer: - Department of Defense, Department of the Air Force - 502d Contracting Squadron (502 CONS CL) and 502d Civil Engineer Squadron (502CES) - OEMs and Vendors Mentioned: - SPX ReCold (existing HVAC system manufacturer) - Products/Services Requested: - Replacement of two HVAC systems (fluid coolers/cooling towers) with brand name or equal to SPX ReCold Model MW-30C - Two new fluid coolers (cooling towers) meeting or exceeding SPX ReCold MW-30C specifications - Two cooling tower pumps with motors (minimum 120 GPM, 5 HP, 208/230V 3-phase) - Two control panels (208/120V, 3-phase, NEMA 3R enclosure) - All necessary piping, valves, fittings, electrical conduit, wiring, controls - Personal protective equipment and site safety equipment - Services include: - Project management and single point of contact - Pre-work inspection and documentation - Demolition and removal of existing systems - Installation of new systems and components - System startup, commissioning, and testing (including water leak detection) - Insulation of new and disturbed piping - Site cleanup and final cleaning - Unique or Notable Requirements: - New systems must meet or exceed the performance, efficiency, and dimensional specifications of SPX ReCold MW-30C - Equipment must fit existing structural supports and operate on specified power (208/230V 3-phase) - All work must comply with applicable codes, standards, and manufacturer specifications - Not considered a construction requirement; includes a one-year warranty on new systems - All debris must be legally disposed of off-base - Work to be performed at specific building addresses on JBSA-FSH

THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE: The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to query the market for potential interested, capable, responsible, and qualified small businesses that can provide and perform the stated requirement IAW the atatched DRAFT Statement of Work. The Government is interested in collecting market information in accordance with (IAW) RFO Part 10. If interested, please review all attachments and fill out and return a copy of the attached Request For Information (RFI) document along with your capabilities.

Please note that this is not a construction requirement.

Description of Services: The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and quality control necessary for the life-cycle replacement of the HVAC systems at Buildings 590 and 591. The project requires the replacement of the existing systems (SPX ReCold, Model: MW-30C, Serial: MW-10063716-A2) with a "brand name or equal" system. All work will be performed for the 502d Civil Engineer Squadron (502CES) at JBSA-FSH. The objective is to deliver a complete, commissioned, and fully operational HVAC system at each location, in accordance with (IAW) all applicable codes, standards, and manufacturer specifications.
