THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT AND IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTATIONS OR PROPOSALS. The Great Plains Area Indian Health Service (GPAIHS), Aberdeen, South Dakota, hereby submits a Notice of Intent to Award a sole source, firm fixed-price, purchase order under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 6.103-1(b), Only One Responsible Source and No other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. This Sole Source Purchase Order will be awarded to South Dakota Department of Health, UEI: J84PKUEWQ6Y5. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is: 541380 – Testing Laboratories and Service $19. The object of this sole source award is to provide off-site laboratory test services; these tests are usually of the communicable type that need to be reported to the State Department of Health for the Wagner IHS Healthcare Center (WHC), Indian Health Service, Wagner, South Dakota.
