The Central Florida Expressway Authority (CFX) is seeking a professional engineering consultant for the final design of the SR 452 Seminole Connector project in Orange County, Florida. - Buyer: Central Florida Expressway Authority (CFX) - Scope of work: - Final design and construction drawings/specifications for approximately 1.6 miles of new limited access highway (SR 452 Seminole Connector) - Includes systems interchange at SR 417, bridges at Oak Way and Palm Way, viaduct over HOA ponds and Pine Way, and a single-point interchange at Lake Mary Blvd - Design and integration of tolling gantries, Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS), lighting, signing, pavement markings, signalization, and maintenance of traffic - Additional services: surveying, mapping, right-of-way acquisition, drainage evaluation and design, permitting, utility design and coordination, geotechnical analysis, scheduling, project control, and progress reporting - Requirements: - Consultants must be prequalified by FDOT in major highway, controlled access highway, and major bridge design (steel and concrete), among other work types - 15% Small Business Enterprise (SBE) participation objective - Coordination required with Florida's Turnpike Enterprise, Seminole County, St. Johns River Water Management District, Sanford Airport Authority, and local HOAs - Strict conflict of interest certifications and adherence to non-solicitation/non-preference provisions - Submission of specific Florida vendor eligibility forms - No specific OEMs or product vendors are named, as this is a professional services solicitation

Central Florida Expressway Authority requires the services of a Professional Engineering Consultant to provide final design and preparation of construction drawings and specifications for the proposed SR 452 Seminole Connector from SR 417 to Red Cleveland Boulevard. The project involves constructing approximately 1.6 miles of a new limited access highway with a systems interchange at SR 417, bridges at Oak Way, Palm Way, a viaduct over the HOA ponds and Pine Way, and a single-point interchange at Lake Mary Blvd. Additional elements include surveying, mapping, right-of-way acquisition, drainage evaluation and design, permitting, lighting, signing and pavement markings, signalization, Intelligent Transportation Systems, tolling, maintenance of traffic, utility design and coordination, geotechnical analysis, scheduling, and project control.
