The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Middle East District, is seeking qualified industry partners to provide comprehensive operation and maintenance services for frequency converters and facility electrical systems supporting the Egyptian Navy at multiple naval bases. - Government Buyer: - U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Middle East District, Southwestern Division - OEMs and Vendors: - Schneider Electric (OEM of ShoreBox Frequency Converters) - Products/Equipment Requested: - Four Schneider Electric ShoreBox Frequency Converters - Unit 1: Part number 20191214SBXRN (Ras El Tin Naval Base) - Unit 2: Part number CG-2020-W29-5-VT01 (Berenice Naval Base) - Unit 3: Part number CG-2020-W28-3-VT01 (Gargoub Naval Base) - Unit 4: Part number SN 81432003 (Western pier, Ras El Tin) - Services Requested: - Mobilization, demobilization, and system condition inspection - On-site preventive maintenance for all ShoreBox units - Corrective maintenance and repairs (NTE $400,000 per year) - Spare parts procurement (NTE $1,000,000 per year) - Defense Base Act insurance (NTE $50,000 per year) - Routine and emergency maintenance, procurement support, minor construction, inspections, inventory management, and training - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Support for Egyptian Navy facilities at multiple naval bases - Key personnel must have electrical engineering experience and be proficient in English and Arabic - Contractor must provide local skilled labor and comply with Egyptian laws - Contract includes a base year, four option years, and a 6-month extension option - Not-to-exceed (NTE) funding limits for corrective maintenance and spare parts procurement - Management of specialty systems such as HVAC and UPS - $25M IDIQ SATOC contract value ceiling with a $10,000 minimum guarantee

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Sources Sought announcement is issued to conduct market research and identify parties interested in, and with the resources to support the Egyptian Navy, and its various locations. As a result of this market research, the U.S. Government will gain a better understanding of industry capabilities for this potential future requirement, which is anticipated to be solicited on a Full and Open basis. Interested parties who consider themselves qualified are invited to submit a Statement of Capabilities in response to this notice.
