STATEMENT OF WORK
CGC BISCAYNE BAY OPFAC: 17504 LOCATION: ST IGNACE, MI
EQUIPMENT: Hi-Fog Water Mist Fire Suppression System
COMPONENT AFFECTED: ANNUAL INSPECTION OF SYSTEM
MPC: R-A-13380, R-M-13373, R-C-14526
Contractor must be HI-FOG certified Technician. Contractor must set up water mist system for testing; complete the water mist system test; and place water mist system back in normal operation once test is completed. Contractor must ensure all connections, fittings, and equipment within the water mist system are operating correctly as well. Contractor shall use MPC R-A-13380 as guidance.
The contractor is authorized to perform minor adjustments and tuning as required to restore the system to normal operation, provided these actions do not require any new parts or incur any additional labor costs.
Any discrepancy found that requires new parts or significant labor beyond the scope of a standard annual inspection shall be documented in the Final Service Report. The contractor shall not proceed with any repairs. The Government Technical Point of Contact (TPOC) will route the report to the Contracting Officer, who is the sole authority for authorizing any work that results in additional cost.
