Description
PHMSA is soliciting public comments on a special permit request submitted by Argent LNG, LLC for the Argent LNG Project. The request seeks relief from compliance with certain Federal pipeline safety regulations related to the design, construction, and testing of LNG storage tanks. The special permit would allow the use of the 2026 edition of NFPA 59A standards instead of the 2001 edition currently referenced. PHMSA will review comments received during the 30-day period before deciding to grant or deny the permit.
