Description
The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service invites public comments on applications to conduct activities with foreign species listed as endangered under the Endangered Species Act (ESA). The ESA prohibits activities with listed species unless authorized by Federal permits. This notice requests comments before issuing permits for activities otherwise prohibited by the ESA involving endangered species. The permit applications include importation and culling of various endangered species to enhance their propagation or survival. Comments are due by June 10, 2026.
