Description

The U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT), Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA), proposes a new system of records titled "DOT/ FMCSA 015 FMCSA Registration Records." This system consolidates existing FMCSA registration systems to maintain registration information for all entities regulated under 49 U.S.C. Subtitle IV, Part B (commercial jurisdiction) and Subtitle VI, Part B (safety jurisdiction).
