Brookhaven National Laboratory (BNL), managed by Brookhaven Science Associates under the U.S. Department of Energy, is soliciting quotes for a large-volume purchase of Vishay chip resistors. - Government Buyer: - U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) - Brookhaven Science Associates (BSA), LLC - Brookhaven National Laboratory (BNL) - OEM Highlight: - Vishay is the sole Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) specified for all resistors - Vendors: - Only authorized or licensed distributors of Vishay products are eligible to quote - Products Requested: - Vishay chip resistors, with the following part numbers and quantities: - CRCW12062M00FKEA: 15,000 units - CRCW080547M0JPEAHR: 90,000 units (across multiple line items) - CRCW120647M0JPEAHR: 195,000 units (across multiple line items) - Each line item has a specific delivery date between July and October - Notable Requirements: - All-inclusive pricing (freight, tariffs, packing, handling) must be included in the item price - Vendors must provide ECCN and HTS codes, and origin of manufacture for each item - Traceability to the OEM and compliance with quality assurance, safety, and packaging standards are required - Vendors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) - Firm Fixed Price contract anticipated - Place of Performance/Delivery: - All deliveries to Brookhaven National Laboratory, Upton, NY, with specific receiving and billing locations

Description

Please provide a quotation for the items listed below, issued in my name, and dated with the current date. The quote should include the applicable lead time. Please also extend any available discounts to offer Brookhaven Science Associates (BSA) your best possible pricing.

If applicable, please include the ECCN and HTS code for each item.

Important Pricing Requirements:

Pricing must be all-inclusive, incorporating freight, tariffs, packing, handling, and any other associated fees for delivery to Brookhaven National Laboratory (BNL). The resulting purchase order will not include separate line items for freight or additional charges; all costs must be included in the item price.

If all-inclusive pricing is not available for foreign products, BNL must be listed as the Importer of Record. In such cases, Incoterms shall be DAP, and BNL’s designated freight forwarder (to be provided) must be utilized.

2.         System For Award Management (SAM):

In order to support DOE reporting requirements, BSA requires all its vendors/contractors to be registered in the U. S. Government supplier database entitled System For Award Management (SAM). Registration can be performed on line at www.sam.gov.  If not already registered, please register as soon as possible since failure to do so may preclude BSA from doing business with your organization. Please note that there is no charge for SAM registration.   When registering, you are strongly urged to copy and paste www.sam.gov onto your browser address rather than utilizing your search engine. Utilizing your search engine may redirect you to an erroneous site. You may obtain assistance in completing your registration, free of charge, from the Association of Procurement Technical Assistance Centers (APTAC), or by contacting the Federal Help Desk at 866-606-8220.

3.         Basis of Award:

BSA will make award to the responsive and responsible offeror who submits the lowest total price and who meets all of BSA’s technical requirements, as stated herein.

4.         Pricing: shall remain valid for 60 days

Quotations will be opened in private. Quotations, including their withdrawal or modification, received after the closing date shall be considered late. Such responses will only be considered for award if it is in BSA’s best interest to do so.

BNL anticipates a Firm Fixed Price Type contract.

Any resulting purchase order will be subject to the attached terms and conditions.
