NIH Patient Hotel Room Accommodations – As-Needed Local Lodging

NIH is seeking local hotel lodging accommodations for patients and authorized family members or caregivers, with the following requirements: - Government Buyer: - National Institutes of Health (NIH), Office of Logistics and Acquisition Operations (OLAO), Department of Health and Human Services - Services Requested: - Hotel lodging accommodations for NIH patients and/or authorized family members or caregivers - No guaranteed minimum number of rooms or room nights; reservations are arranged as needs arise - Hotels must be within a 7-mile radius of NIH addresses (including NIH Clinical Center, West Cedar Lane) - Support for both short-term and extended stays - Amenities such as shuttle service, breakfast, and ADA-accessible rooms are encouraged but not required - Reservation requests may include same-day or short-notice bookings - No subcontracting allowed; only direct hotel offers are accepted - OEMs and Vendors: - No specific OEMs or hotel brands are named; only direct hotel providers within the specified radius are eligible - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Strict no-subcontracting policy - Flexible reservation process with no set schedule or lead time - Location requirement: within seven-mile driving radius of NIH Clinical Center - Place of Performance: - NIH Clinical Center, West Cedar Lane, Bethesda, MD - Hotels within a 7-mile radius of NIH addresses - Period of Performance: - Ongoing, as-needed basis with no fixed dates or guaranteed minimums
