Description
The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) is soliciting nominations for appointments to the United States Advisory Panel (AP) established under the Agreement between the United States and Canada on Pacific Hake/Whiting. Nominations are sought to fill at least one position on the AP. The term length for appointees is 4 years, with eligibility for reappointment upon term expiration. The AP advises the Joint Management Committee on bilateral Pacific whiting management issues, and members may be reimbursed for travel expenses. Nominations must be received by June 10, 2026.
