The Town of Lantana is seeking bids for significant upgrades to its Water Treatment Plant's instrumentation and controls systems. - Government Buyer: - Town of Lantana, Palm Beach County, Florida - OEMs and Vendors: - Allen-Bradley (primary OEM for PLC equipment) - CC Controls (Town's preferred integrator for system integration) - Products/Services Requested: - Replacement of obsolete Allen-Bradley SLC-5/05 PLCs with new Allen-Bradley PLCs - Upgrades to existing instrumentation and controls components - Improvements to the SCADA system, conduit, wiring, and cybersecurity - Isolation, removal, and disposal of selected existing control systems - Restoration of affected areas and training for Town staff - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Coordination required with the Town's preferred integrator (CC Controls), the Owner, Engineer, and Florida Power & Light (FPL) for system interruptions, permitting, and installation - Emphasis on cybersecurity enhancements - Contractor must provide staff training and restore all affected areas after installation

Description

This solicitation is for upgrades to the instrumentation and controls at the Water Treatment Plant located at 510 W. Pine Street, Lantana, FL. The work includes isolation, removal, and disposal of selected existing control systems, replacement of obsolete Allen-Bradley PLCs, improvements to instrumentation and controls components including SCADA system, conduit, wiring, and cybersecurity enhancements. The contractor must coordinate with the Owner, Engineer, and other entities for system interruptions, permits, and installation. Training for Town staff and restoration work are also required.
