The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking firewall appliances and comprehensive firewall services to support patient WiFi across multiple buildings at the Sheridan VA Medical Center in Sheridan, Wyoming. - Government Buyer: - Department of Veterans Affairs - Network Contracting Office 19 (Greenwood Village, CO) - Sheridan VA Health Care System - OEMs and Vendors: - Current firewall devices are Fortinet 60F and 40F models (Fortinet is the referenced OEM) - Offerors must be OEMs or authorized dealers; OEM certification is required for all services and maintenance - Products/Services Requested: - Firewall appliances for up to 1000 users in each of five buildings (Buildings 7, 61, 64, 86, 87) - Comprehensive firewall services including: - Programming, licensing, on-site setup, repair, and replacement of firewall appliances - 24/7/365 telephone support and remote services - Installation of manufacturer software updates - Daily email activity reports - Onsite replacement within 4 hours on weekdays by certified personnel - Provision of a separate reporting tool - Unique/Notable Requirements: - All equipment and services must be new and OEM; gray market or remanufactured items are prohibited - Strict 4-hour onsite response time for equipment replacement during weekdays - Certified personnel must perform all tasks - Contract is set aside for Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB) - All software licensing, warranty, and services must comply with OEM terms - Contract includes a base period and four option years (up to 5 years total) - All work to be performed at Sheridan VA Medical Center, across specified buildings
