Description

Montgomery County is seeking interest and ideas from insured for-profit, non-profit, and public entities for a sub-lease to maintain and operate a fish nursery in collaboration with the Pennsylvania Fish & Boat Commission. The facility will be used to rear fingerling trout to increase fishing opportunities for disadvantaged children, disabled citizens, and the public during special events such as fishing derbies. The current facility is located at 57 Upper Farm Road, Norristown, PA 19403, and includes amenities such as approximately 6-foot pool raceways, suitable wells, a clubhouse, pavilion, and storage sheds.
