SUNY Buffalo is seeking qualified firms to provide professional construction estimating services for a range of on-campus projects managed by its Facilities Design and Construction Department. - Government Buyer: - State University of New York (SUNY), SUNY Buffalo, Facilities Design and Construction Department - Scope of Services: - Professional construction cost estimating for building construction, rehabilitation, and new construction projects - Services to be provided on a project-by-project basis over a three-year contract term - Deliverables include detailed cost estimates at various project stages (conceptual, schematic, design development, construction documents) with labor and material breakdowns by CSI Division and union trade - Participation in constructability review sessions and delivery of estimates in editable Microsoft Excel format - Experience & Qualifications: - Firms and proposed personnel must have at least five years of experience in construction estimating for medium to large-scale commercial or higher education projects - At least three client references for similar work are required - Notable Requirements: - Maximum consultant fee of $500,000 per project - Adherence to New York State business enterprise goals, including MWBE and SDVOB participation - Compliance with New York State procurement and labor laws, including prevailing wage rates - Project Example (BEB_PHHP Teaching Kitchen): - Equipment and furnishings such as double wall ovens, microwaves, induction cooktops, refrigerators, freezers, dishwashers, signage, and specialty kitchen worktables - Construction and renovation services including demolition, installation, fire suppression, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, finishes, and temporary protections - Allowances for fire alarm, audio/visual, IT, and equipment - No specific OEMs or vendors are named; this is a qualifications-based solicitation

The University at Buffalo (University) is seeking a qualified firm to provide construction estimating services for on-campus projects managed by the Universitys Facilities Design and Construction Department. Firms must have a minimum of five years of experience providing construction estimating services for medium to large-scale commercial and/or higher education projects. Estimating services will be requested on a project-by-project basis as needed. The term of the agreement is three years, with an anticipated start date of August 1, 2026.
