Description

This Request for Information (RFI) seeks feedback on draft scopes of work related to hydrology and methylmercury contamination and water quality in the Regional Assessment Area of the Ring of Fire. The objective is to identify key knowledge gaps and research needs to support the Regional Assessment and future impact assessments. The work involves addressing hydrology knowledge gaps and identifying areas most at risk for methylmercury contamination, integrating western and Indigenous knowledge, and communicating findings to Indigenous communities. The contract duration is 5 months starting June 15, 2026, and the procurement method is competitive open bidding. Note that this RFI has been cancelled.
