Description

The Melbourne Airport Authority (MAA) is seeking to replace the atrium skylight in the main terminal building that was damaged by recent hurricanes. The existing skylight, replaced during a previous renovation, has failed and requires replacement under a Lump Sum Contract. The contractor will be responsible for maintaining pedestrian traffic, coordinating with other contractors, and supporting airport operations during construction, which will occur while the airport remains operational. The scope includes value engineering, scheduling, permitting, subcontractor management, supervision, document control, inspections, commissioning, training, and project close-out.
