Description
The Melbourne Airport Authority (MAA) is seeking to replace the atrium skylight in the main terminal building that was damaged by hurricanes. The existing skylight, replaced during the Terminal Renovation and Expansion Project, has since failed. The contract is a lump sum contract and includes responsibilities such as maintenance of pedestrian traffic, coordination with other contractors, supporting airport operations during installation, and construction while the airport is operational. Additional duties include value engineering, scheduling, permitting, subcontractor bidding, supervision, document control, inspections, commissioning, training, and project close-out.
