Description

SaskPower is seeking new construction of approximately 19km and 18km of 230kV transmission line to sectionalize the current B4R/B5R double circuit line and connect in/out to the new Tableland Switching Station. The new line will consist of direct embed 230kV double circuit galvanized H-frame structures with double-circuit twin-bundled Drake ACSR conductor. The work includes constructing a temporary bypass line to allow one circuit of the B4R/B5R line to be energized, installation of temporary dead-end structures, salvage of existing lattice tower structures and conductors, and dead-ending of shield wires on specified lines. Construction completion is required no later than March 15, 2027.
