ʔaq̓am First Nation is seeking to continue a long-term monitoring program focused on native vegetation, biodiversity, and invasive species management, specifically targeting sulphur cinquefoil suppression through goat grazing. The program involves monitoring 31 transects with permanent plots established since 2017 near Adrian Lake and Long Prairie in British Columbia. The awarded bidder will have access to previous data and reports related to grazing monitoring on ʔaq̓am's lands. This effort supports biodiversity by preventing seed formation of the invasive species.
