The State of Minnesota is seeking contractors to provide autobody and mechanical repair services for heavy equipment and commercial trucks used by state agencies and Cooperative Purchasing Venture (CPV) members. - Government Buyer: - State of Minnesota, Department of Administration, Office of State Procurement - Key contacts: Jonathan Moxley, Dustin Burns - OEMs and Vendors: - Respondents must list all key/primary parts and raw material suppliers (OEMs and manufacturers) in their proposals - Example OEMs and suppliers mentioned: ABC Auto Parts, XYZ Salvage, DEF Auto, MN USA Steel - Only authorized distributors or manufacturer's representatives may submit offers for OEM equipment; brokers are not accepted - Products/Services Requested: - Autobody and mechanical repairs for heavy equipment and commercial trucks - Includes general repairs, diagnostics, preventative maintenance, collision repair and refinish, transit and school bus repair, aerial cranes and lifts repair, military tactical wheeled vehicle repair, machining/fabrication/welding, hydraulic services, and transportation/towing - Services must be provided on an as-needed basis across multiple counties - Technicians must have ASE or equivalent certifications - Respondents must submit Exhibit D: Price Schedule detailing labor rates, parts markups, and supplier information - Unique or Notable Requirements: - Compliance with Minnesota's diversity and inclusion goals; participation from minority, women, veteran, and disabled-owned businesses is encouraged - Prompt pay discounts and restrictions on certain substances (PFAS, triclosan, coal tar, polybrominated diphenyl ether) - Documentation required on qualifications, experience, workforce and equal pay certifications, and a priority service program - Registration in the Supplier Portal is mandatory; non-electronic or email responses are not accepted - Estimated annual contract value: $100,000 to $500,000 - Place of performance and delivery: Primarily at Minnesota Department of Administration, 50 Sherburne Ave, Saint Paul, MN 55155, and other state facilities as needed

Description

This is a formal Request for Proposal (RFP) issued by the State of Minnesota for autobody and mechanical repairs of heavy equipment and commercial trucks owned and operated by State Agencies and Cooperative Purchasing Venture (CPV) members. The contract awarded will provide these repair services on an as-needed basis. Responses must be submitted electronically via the Supplier Portal by June 30, 2026, and questions must be submitted in writing by June 11, 2026. The contract term is anticipated from August 2026 to July 2028, with an option to extend up to an additional 48 months.
