Heritage High School Theater Renovation – Auditorium Seating, Restroom, and Facility Upgrades

Blount County Board of Education is seeking bids for a comprehensive renovation of the Heritage High School Theater in Maryville, TN. - Government Buyer: - Blount County Board of Education (Blount County Schools), with procurement managed by Blount County Government Purchasing - Project Scope: - Replacement of approximately 555-566 auditorium seats, including 159 seats with writing tablets and 7 wheelchair spaces - Upgrades to theater lighting and sound systems - Renovation of two stage-adjacent restrooms, including new plumbing fixtures - Installation of new stage wood flooring (approx. 1,912 sq ft) - Refinishing of theater ceiling and concrete floor (approx. 2,770 sq ft) - Replacement of doors, frames, and hardware at five locations - Installation of new stage curtains and tracks - Demolition, patching, and repair as required - OEMs and Vendors: - Zurn (specified for plumbing fixtures: water closets, urinals, lavatories, drains, water hammer arrestors, toilet seats) - Daltile (specified for restroom tile: Classic 3x6, color 0135 Almond and others) - Products/Part Numbers & Quantities: - Theater seating: approx. 555-566 units (396 standard, 159 with writing tablets, 7 wheelchair spaces) - Daltile Classic 3x6 tile (restroom renovations) - Zurn plumbing fixtures: Z5665-BWL1, Z5655-BWL1, Z5755-U, Z5114, ZN415-5SZ1, Z1700-100, Z5955SS-EL-STS, Z59588SS-EL-STS - Stage flooring: approx. 1,912 sq ft - Concrete floor refinishing: approx. 2,770 sq ft - Door and frame replacements: 5 locations - Unique/Notable Requirements: - All work must be coordinated through a prime general contractor; subcontractors must bid under the general contractor - Compliance with background checks, performance and payment bonds, drug-free workplace, and anti-lobbying certifications - Bidders must be properly licensed and comply with all local, state, and federal requirements - Project designed by The Lewis Group Architects, with Rose Engineering and Vreeland Engineers as consultants - Several alternates included: restroom renovations, new stage flooring, ceiling and concrete floor refinishing, and door/hardware replacement - Liquidated damages of $500 per day for late completion - Place of Performance: - Heritage High School, 3741 E. This Invitation to Bid (ITB) is issued by Blount County, TN Government on behalf of Blount County Board of Education to procure a contract for the renovation of Heritage High School Theater.
