Description

The Waterbury Development Corporation (WDC) proposes to locate and construct Fire Station 5 on approximately 59,528 square feet (1.37 acres) of the Rotella Magnet School property on Pierpont Road in Waterbury, CT. The existing Station 5 on East Main Street has been assessed, and renovation costs are considered less favorable compared to building a new station. This Request for Proposal (RFP) includes the Design Phase, Bidding Phase, and Construction Administration Services along with any additional necessary associated services for the new station. A mandatory information session will be held on May 20, 2026, at 10:00 AM in the lobby of Rotella Magnet School, and attendance is required to be eligible to submit a proposal.
