Description
The fiscal year 2026 (FY26) Peer Reviewed Medical Research Program (PRMRP) Research Advancement Award supports fundamental research studies that contribute to research, patient care, and quality of life for diseases or conditions related to congressionally directed FY26 PRMRP topic areas and strategic goals. Applications must include preliminary data and support use-inspired basic research to validate or further preliminary findings for short- and long-term impact. The program expects to fund approximately 14 awards with a total cost cap of $1.4 million per award and a maximum performance period of 4 years. Awards will be funded with FY26 funds, expiring on September 30, 2032, and awarded no later than September 30, 2027.
