AOA Fence and Access Gate Realignment at Hagerstown Regional Airport

Washington County, Maryland is seeking qualified contractors for the Airport Operations Area (AOA) Fence and Access Gate Realignment project at Hagerstown Regional Airport. - Government Buyer: - Board of County Commissioners of Washington County, Maryland - Coordination with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and Hagerstown Regional Airport - Project Scope: - Removal and installation of approximately 3,500 linear feet of existing fencing - Installation of 2,000 linear feet of 10-foot chain-link fence with barbed wire - Installation of 500 linear feet of chain-link fence on concrete median barrier - Installation of electric telescoping gates (106-foot and 160-foot variants), pedestrian gates, and gate operators - Installation of 38 six-inch bollards - Electrical and communication work including: - Fiber optic cable installation in various conduits (totaling over 4,000 linear feet) - Electric cable installation in 2-inch and 4-inch conduits - Directional boring (fiber and electric cables, including through rock) - Installation and relocation of electrical junction cans, handholes, racks, and a 25KV transformer - Installation of obstruction lights and CCTV cameras (Axis P37 Panoramic Camera or approved equal) - Access control devices (HID Multiclass SE RK40 or approved equal) and electric gate locks (SDC GATELOK GL 263AH or approved equal) - Site work including pavement marking removal and installation, seeding, infill of oil/water separators and trench drains - Products/Services Requested: - Detailed line items for fencing, gates, electrical, fiber optic, and site restoration (see below for full list) - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Strict coordination with airport operations to minimize disruption - Compliance with FAA regulations and Airport Improvement Program provisions - Buy American requirements and Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) participation goal of 10.79% - Bid, performance, and labor/material bonds required - Safety and security protocols must be followed - Liquidated damages of $2,500 per day for delays - OEMs Highlighted: - Axis Communications (Axis P37 Panoramic Camera) - HID Global (HID Multiclass SE RK40 access control device) - Security Door Controls (SDC GATELOK GL 263AH electric gate lock) - Place of Performance: - Hagerstown Regional Airport, 18434 Showalter Road, Hagerstown, MD 21742 - Washington County Administrative Complex, 100 West Washington Street, Hagerstown, MD
