Description
The City of Solvang is soliciting proposals from qualified municipal finance, planning, engineering, and/or public works consultants to develop a Capital Improvement Plan, impact fee nexus study, and fee update. The project aims to assist in defraying the cost of extending services supporting new developments by imposing impact fees on developers, consistent with the California Mitigation Fee Act. The consultant will collaborate with city staff, elected officials, developers, and the community to create a sustainable and actionable plan aligned with the General Plan. The study will include legally defensible analyses and documentation to support the adoption of development impact fees.
