The City of Toledo, Department of Public Utilities / Division of Sewer & Drainage Services, is seeking contractors for a one-year contract (with two possible one-year renewals) to perform sewer and water service kills as part of the Urban Beautification Land Bank program. - Scope of Work: - 150 sewer kills within or outside pavement areas - 150 water service kills in pavement areas - 50 water service kills not in pavement areas - No specific Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) or named vendors are specified in the solicitation - Compliance Requirements: - Adherence to City of Toledo construction standards and 2025 Construction Standards - Prevailing wage laws and living wage requirements - Project Labor Agreement (PLA) with the Northwest Ohio Building and Construction Trades Council required for contracts over $100,000 - Minority business participation goals and certified payroll submission - Insurance from A- Best-rated companies with specific liability minimums, including continuation of coverage for 12 months post-final payment - Submission of vendor registration, tax compliance, EEO certification, bid guaranty, and other certifications - Pre-construction compliance meeting and pre-job conference with NWOBTC required - The City reserves the right to award in part or whole and may require performance and payment bonds - Place of performance is within the City of Toledo, with government offices at One Government Center, 640 Jackson Street, Toledo, OH
