Description
The Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) intends to award a contract for the provision of the Sentimag SMB03 platform to Hologic Canada ULC. This Advance Contract Award Notice (ACAN) allows other suppliers to submit statements of capabilities within a ten business day period to demonstrate their ability to meet the requirements. The platform must include a single console and probe system for breast lesion localization and sentinel lymph node biopsy, a non-radioactive lymphatic tracer injectable up to 30 days prior to surgery, and a stainless steel seed placeable at any time prior to surgery. Minimum essential requirements include audible and visual probe proximity indication, 360-degree detection, and immunity to interference from tissue type, hematomas, and surgical lighting.
