Description

The City of Capitola is soliciting proposals for the design, financing, construction, operation, and maintenance of a restaurant and fishing concession marketplace on the Capitola Wharf. The project involves a public/private partnership where the selected proposer will enter into a long-term lease with the City and assume responsibility for project implementation. The marketplace will include a year-round restaurant with dining, kitchen, bar, and entertainment areas, as well as a fishing concession with bait and tackle shop, boat rentals, sales, and repairs. Proposals must address public access, coastal compatibility, and operational plans, and be submitted by July 27, 2026.
