The City of Stillwater/Stillwater Utilities Authority is seeking bids for chemical root control services in sanitary sewer lines. - Government Buyer: - City of Stillwater - Stillwater Utilities Authority - City Clerk's Office, Municipal Building - OEMs and Vendors: - Chemical products must be EPA and Oklahoma Department of Agriculture registered brands such as Razorooter II™, RootX, or approved equivalents - Products/Services Requested: - Application of chemical root control agents (e.g., Razorooter II™, RootX) to 6" and 8" sanitary sewer pipes - Services include all labor, equipment, chemicals, and compliance with safety and legal requirements - Contractors must be licensed pesticide application businesses in Oklahoma - Minimum staffing: at least two certified pesticide applicators with three years' experience and 500,000 linear feet of treatment - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Chemical agent must not harm surrounding vegetation or disrupt wastewater treatment - Product must be applied as foam under pressure - Pollution liability insurance minimum: $5,000,000 - Performance bond and various affidavits required - Two-year guarantee for treated sections, including free re-treatment if root regrowth occurs - Work performed during business hours, excluding weekends and holidays - All products must be registered with EPA and Oklahoma Department of Agriculture
