Description
This project involves the demolition of 1,398 square feet of an existing two-story, 12,629 square foot arts center building and the renovation of the remaining structure. Additionally, a new one-story 9,399 square foot addition will be constructed. The arts center will feature vocational arts classrooms for painting, ceramics, fibers, and youth arts programming, along with a multipurpose room and support spaces. The existing building is load bearing masonry and steel framed, while the addition will be steel framed with Type VB construction and fully sprinklered. The scope includes mechanical, electrical, plumbing upgrades, and installation of fire sprinkler and alarm systems.
