This Invitation for Bid (IFB) seeks pricing from responsive vendors to supply Brine Solution Production Systems to the North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT) for its annual brine production needs. The brine produced is used on roads and highways throughout North Carolina during predicted snow events. Owning these systems will provide the State with greater flexibility in responding to snow events. The solicitation is open and bids are due by May 18, 2026, at 2:00 PM ET.
