Arlington Independent School District (AISD) is seeking bids for a range of transportation batteries to replenish inventory and support its vehicle fleet: - Government Buyer: - Arlington Independent School District (AISD), Purchasing Coordinator, Administration Building - Products Requested: - Group 78 batteries, minimum 700 CCA (40 units) - Group 65 batteries, minimum 750 CCA (20 units) - Group 34 batteries, minimum 600 CCA (6 units) - Group 94R batteries, minimum 700 CCA (12 units) - Group 48/H6 batteries, minimum 700 CCA (50 units) - Group 31HD batteries with stud posts, minimum 950 CCA (300 units) - Heavy-duty batteries must include a 12-month or better warranty - Notable Requirements: - Bidders must specify the brand and model for each battery; 'No Substitution' may apply to some items - Inside delivery is required to all district locations except the receiving dock - Quantities are estimates and may be adjusted during the contract term - The district reserves the right to award on an item-by-item basis - Freight costs must be included in bids - Samples may be required upon request - No specific OEMs or brands are mandated in the solicitation, allowing for multiple battery manufacturers to compete
