Draper City Corporation is seeking bids for the Suncrest Drive Transmission Line Improvements Project, which involves significant water infrastructure upgrades: - Government Buyer: Draper City Corporation Engineering Division - Project Scope: - Construction of two new cast-in-place valve vaults with associated piping, appurtenances, and mechanical/electrical systems - Electrical improvements at an existing valve vault - Asphalt pavement restoration, site restoration, and storm water drainage improvements - Installation of corrosion monitoring and cathodic protection systems - Traffic control and implementation of a Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) - OEMs and Referenced Equipment: - Tsurumi Pump (Model HSZ2 4S-62) – submersible pumps for vaults - Endress+Hauser (Promag W400) – electromagnetic flow meter - Loren Cook Company (Cook 8CV15D) – exhaust fans - Products/Quantities: - 2 Tsurumi submersible pumps (HSZ2 4S-62) - 1 Endress+Hauser Promag W400 flow meter - 3 Cook 8CV15D exhaust fans - Multiple construction and restoration line items (see below for details) - Notable Requirements: - Strict coordination with the City for water supply shutdowns to minimize resident impact - Adherence to critical project schedules and deadlines - Performance and payment bonds required - One-year warranty period after project acceptance - All responses must be submitted electronically - Place of Performance: Work to be performed in Draper, Utah, with key locations at Winged Trace Court, Brookside Drive, and Suncrest Drive South vaults

Description

This project involves the construction of two cast-in-place valve vaults with associated piping and appurtenances, as well as electrical improvements at a third existing vault. Work will require coordination with the City to manage water supply during critical shutdown schedules. The project includes heavy construction, highway and road services, storm water drainage, and paving. Bidders must submit a 5% bid bond and respond electronically via U3P-Bonfire by the specified deadline.
