NOAA's National Weather Service Southern Region is seeking a contractor to replace Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems at three Weather Forecast Offices (WFOs) in Morristown (MRX), Nashville (OHX), and Atlanta (FFC). - Government Buyer: - National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), National Weather Service (NWS) Southern Region - Contracting office: Western Acquisition Division, Seattle, WA - OEMs and Vendors: - Eaton is the specified Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) for the UPS systems - Products/Services Requested: - Three (3) Eaton UPS 93PM systems (208VAC, 3 phase, 60 HZ), each with: - 3x 20 KW modules per UPS - Internal (side car) Maintenance Bypass - Eaton Remote Monitoring Device (RMD) - Lithium-ion battery strings providing at least 15-minute runtime per UPS - Energy Star Certification (if available) - Removal and proper disposal of existing UPS units, battery cabinets, batteries, and debris at each WFO - Installation, startup, and testing of new UPS systems and battery monitoring - 8 hours of on-site training per location on the new UPS, RMD, and battery system - Unique/Notable Requirements: - All UPS systems must be Energy Star Certified if available - The contract is set aside 100% for Women-Owned Small Businesses (WOSB) - Emphasis on compliance with federal regulations and encouragement of AbilityOne nonprofit subcontracting - Place of Performance: - WFO Morristown (MRX): 5974 Commerce Blvd., Morristown, TN 37814 - WFO Nashville (OHX): 500 Weather Station Road, Old Hickory, TN 37138 - WFO Atlanta (FFC): 4 Falcon Drive, Peachtree City, GA 30269

Description

This requirement is for the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), National Weather Service (NWS) Southern Region (SR), Weather Forecast Offices (WFO) at the Morristown (MRX), Nashville (OHX) and Atlanta (FFC) locations.  The purpose of this requirement is to supply and install the Eaton 93PM UPS system, with lithium battery backup for 15 minutes, at each of the three WFO locations as well as provide the removal and disposal of the existing UPS’s, battery cabinet with batteries and any associated debris.
