Tinker AFB Building 201 Roof Replacement and Repair Solicitation

The U.S. Air Force at Tinker Air Force Base is seeking contractor services for the comprehensive repair and replacement of the roof on Building 201 (Logistics Facility, Depot Operations). - Government Buyer: - U.S. Air Force, Air Force Materiel Command, 72nd Air Base Wing Civil Engineering Directorate (72 ABW/CE) - Products and Services Requested: - Complete demolition and replacement of the existing roof system on Building 201 - Installation of a fully adhered EPDM roof membrane system (white, minimum 90 mil thickness, meeting ASHRAE 90.1-2010 SRI requirements) - Rigid polyisocyanurate insulation (ASTM C 1289, R-value 24, minimum slope 1/4 inch per foot) - Tapered cricket/saddle insulation, high-density cover board, prefabricated curbs, walk pads, wood nailers - Secondary roof drainage system (scupper system, new roof drains Wade model 3000 or equal, scupper drains Wade model 3271 or equal) - Metal work (counter flashing, expansion joints, cap metal, gutters, downspouts with PVF2 coating) - Pipe/conduit supports (100% recycled rubber base, 14-gauge galvanized steel channel) - Yellow safety tape (Firestone Quick Seam or similar) - Removal and reinstallation of rooftop equipment (exhaust fans, HVAC units, etc.) - Quality control, safety management, and limited design services - Unique or Notable Requirements: - Compliance with Air Force and UFC standards, environmental and safety regulations - 30-year roof membrane manufacturer warranty and 2-year installer workmanship warranty - Key personnel required: Project Manager, Quality Control Manager, Safety Officer, Superintendent - Detailed submittal, scheduling, and reporting requirements - All reused equipment must be remounted per manufacturer requirements - No specific OEMs or vendors are mandated, but reference is made to Wade (roof drains) and Firestone (safety tape) as acceptable or equal products - Estimated contract value: $1,000,000 to $5,000,000 - Place of performance: Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma (Building 201)

The work to be performed under the terms of this order consists of furnishing limited design services, materials, labor, plant, tools, transportation, equipment, testing services, quality control and incidentals required to accomplish the repair by replacement of the roof on Building 201 at Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma (reference project drawings and SOW for additional information).

THE ESTIMATED MAGNITUDE OF THIS PROJECT IS BETWEEN $1,000,000.00 - $5,000,000.00

Funds are not presently available for this contract.  The Governments obligation under this contract is contingent upon the availability of appropriated funds from which payment for contract purposes can be made.  No legal liability on the part of the Government for any payment may arise until funds are made available to the Contracting Officer for this contract and until the Contractor receives notice of such availability, to be confirmed in writing by the Contracting Officer.
