Description
The Rural Maryland Council is accepting letters of intent for Fiscal Year 2027 grant programs aimed at capacity building, entrepreneurship, infrastructure, rural health, and regional economic and planning to address rural community needs. The Rural Maryland Prosperity Investment Fund supports economic prosperity in Maryland's disadvantaged rural communities by promoting regional cooperation, entrepreneurial activities, and supporting community colleges and nonprofits. Funding also supports the Maryland Agricultural Education and Rural Development Assistance Fund (MAERDAF), rural regional councils, infrastructure projects, entrepreneurship development, workforce development, cooperative and agricultural development, rural community development, and rural health care organizations.
