FCC Yazoo City is seeking small business suppliers for a large-scale procurement of food products and religious diet items for its correctional facility in Mississippi. - Government Buyer: - Federal Bureau of Prisons, Department of Justice - Federal Correctional Complex (FCC) Yazoo City - Products/Services Requested: - Wide range of food items including dry beans, rice, pasta, cereals, meats (beef, chicken, turkey, fish), dairy, bread, eggs, frozen vegetables, and condiments - Large quantities, e.g., 1,114,394 butter patties, 250,000 instant coffee packets, 80,000 lbs chicken breast, 50,000 lbs rice - Kosher, halal, and other religious diet meals (e.g., kosher fish fillet meals, halal fish fillet meals, kosher bologna, kosher tuna, kosher cereal) - Disposable food service items (trays, napkins, sporks) - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Strict compliance with federal food regulations, allergen labeling, and religious dietary certifications (kosher, halal) - Specific packaging and portion sizes required for many items - Fresh bread must be delivered within 48 hours of baking; some items (bread, milk) may require weekly delivery - All products must be delivered to FCC Yazoo City, with shipping included in pricing - Bids must be submitted using the provided Excel spreadsheet; no alterations allowed - Past performance is weighted equally with price in evaluation - Vendors must be registered in SAM.gov - No specific OEMs or brands are mandated; open to multiple food manufacturers and distributors

The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Institution, Yazoo City, MS is hereby issuing  solicitation FCC YAZOO CITY - Q4 FY26 - Subsistence & Religious Diet for the acquisition of various food items for delivery to the Federal Correctional Institute, Yazoo City, MS. This acquisition is set aside for small business. Terms are FOB Destination, full delivery must be completed by July 20th, 2026, unless deliveries is scheduled for weekly (i.e. bread, milk). The contract type is a firm-fixed price. The Government reserves the right to award to responsible vendor(s) whose offer, conforms to the solicitation, and is considered to be most advantageous to the Government. Past performance will be considered approximately equal in value to price.

"Quotations must be submitted in accordance with the specifications and terms included herein". "The Government reserves the right to accept other than the lowest priced offer".

Past Performance (poor past performance, failure to deliver awarded items in the past, not meeting required specifications, etc.), may result with the vendors quotes being considered as a non-responsible vendor. Please include shipping in all pricing. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments and awards, will be distributed through Sam.gov. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure they have the most up-todate information about this solicitation. Each offeror is required to be registered in www.SAM.gov complete with representations and certifications at the time of quotation.
