The City of Temecula is seeking proposals for comprehensive landscape maintenance services across a wide range of city-owned properties. - Government Buyer: - City of Temecula, Department of Public Works, Public Works / City Engineer - Scope of Services: - General landscape maintenance for city facilities, parks, medians, slopes, sports parks, and school sites - Tasks include mowing, edging, plant trimming, irrigation system operation and repair, trash and debris removal, weed and rodent control, pest management, and specialized sports field maintenance - Maintenance of hardscape areas, including pressure washing, surface blowing, and infield preparation for sports fields - Daily, weekly, and periodic services as specified for each site - Sites Covered: - Over 40 named parks, sports parks, school fields, medians, trails, and city facilities throughout Temecula - Notable locations include Ronald Reagan Sports Park, Margarita Community Park, Temecula Duck Pond Park, and multiple freeway on/off ramps - Contract Structure and Requirements: - Initial contract term of 36 months, with three optional one-year extensions - Contractors may bid on one or more service areas; pricing is per square foot or acre and may be adjusted for additional sites - Compliance with labor laws, local vendor preference, and detailed reporting required - Flexibility to add new sites during the contract period - OEMs and Vendors: - No specific OEMs, brands, or vendors are mandated; open to all qualified landscape maintenance providers - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Ability to maintain diverse site types (parks, medians, sports fields, trails, school sites) - Specialized maintenance for sports fields and pressure washing for certain parks - Adherence to city landscape standards and integrated pest management practices

Description

The City of Temecula is soliciting proposals for Landscape Maintenance Services to maintain various city landscaping areas including facilities, medians, parks (streetscapes & trails), slopes, and sports parks (school sites). The contract term is initially 36 months with options for three additional one-year extensions. Contractors may propose to maintain one or more service areas, with pricing based on square footage or per acre. Additional sites may be added during the agreement period, with pricing adjusted accordingly.
