Description
The FAA is adopting a new airworthiness directive (AD) for certain Gulfstream Aerospace LP Model Gulfstream G280 airplanes. This AD was prompted by reports of water accumulation in electrical connectors in the aft fuselage below the empennage, causing flight control system messages. The AD requires retrofitting the electrical harness in the empennage to address the unsafe condition. The effective date of this AD is June 12, 2026. The directive aims to prevent loss of controllability of the airplane due to this issue.
