NASA Goddard Space Flight Center is seeking a contractor to deliver and install a cryogen-free dilution refrigerator system for testing superconducting detectors and devices. - Government Buyer: - NASA Goddard Space Flight Center (GSFC), Detector Systems Branch, Code 553 - OEMs and Vendors: - No specific OEMs or vendors are named; typical OEMs for dilution refrigerators include Bluefors, Oxford Instruments, and Leiden Cryogenics - Products/Services Requested: - Cryogen-free dilution refrigerator system - Complete system includes: cryostat with installed dilution unit, pulse tube cooler (remote motor), gas handling system for Helium-3/Helium-4 mixture, control electronics and software, thermometry system (6+ channel readout), pumps, valves, peripherals, and cryostat stand with passive vibration isolation - Must achieve ultralow temperatures (250 µW at 100 mK) - Quantity: 1 system - On-site installation and commissioning at NASA GSFC laboratory - Technical support and warranty service (minimum 1-year warranty, ongoing support) - Unique/Notable Requirements: - System must operate without liquid cryogens and support rapid cooldown cycles - Delivery, installation, and commissioning required at NASA GSFC - 12-month warranty and ongoing technical support - Performance at both NASA GSFC and contractor facilities - Compliance with federal acquisition regulations and labor standards - Place of Performance: - NASA Goddard Space Flight Center, Greenbelt, Maryland

NASA/GSFC has a requirement for a Cryogen-free Dilution Refrigerator Test for Characterization of Superconducting Detectors and Devices.

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.201-1 (Simplified Procedures) as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation and quotations are being requested.
