Description
Carteret County Government is seeking competitive proposals from qualified contractors for the removal and complete replacement of three sets of existing historic exterior wood door assemblies at the Courthouse Complex located at 302 Courthouse Square, Beaufort, NC 28516. The project requires the replacement doors to match the existing doors as closely as possible in design, material, dimensions, and overall appearance while complying with current building codes, ADA requirements, and preservation requirements. Contractors must provide all labor, materials, equipment, and services necessary for the turn-key completion of the project, including removal, fabrication, installation, and finishing of the door assemblies. The project also includes provisions for site visits, damage repair, permit acquisition, and coordination with County for security systems.
