The City of Stillwater/Stillwater Utilities Authority (SUA) is seeking bids for chemical root control services for its sanitary sewer system. - Government Buyer: - City of Stillwater / Stillwater Utilities Authority (SUA) - Contracting office: City Clerk's Office, Stillwater, OK - Products & Services Requested: - Application of chemical root control agents to 6" and 8" sanitary sewer pipes (measured in linear feet) - Chemical root control agent must be EPA and Oklahoma Department of Agriculture registered (examples: Razorooter II™, Root X, or approved equivalent) - Services include all labor, equipment, chemicals, and application as foam under pressure - Two-year guarantee on treated lines, with re-treatment if root regrowth occurs - OEMs and Vendors: - Razorooter II™ (manufactured by Duke's Root Control, Inc.) - RootX (manufactured by Sewer Sciences Inc.) - Equivalent products may be proposed if registered and approved - Notable Requirements: - Contractor must be a licensed pesticide application business in Oklahoma - At least two Certified Pesticide Applicators with minimum experience (3 years, 500,000 linear feet treated in last 24 months) - Proof of pollution liability insurance, performance bond, and affidavits required - Strict adherence to safety and environmental regulations - Application must not harm vegetation or disrupt wastewater treatment processes - All chemicals must be applied as foam and approved by the Owner

The City of Stillwater/Stillwater Utilities Authority is soliciting sealed bids for Sanitary Sewer Chemical Root Control Services. The work involves applying a chemical root control agent to sanitary sewers to kill root growth and inhibit re-growth for two years without damaging vegetation or disrupting wastewater treatment processes. The contractor must be licensed and experienced in pesticide application, and the chemical agent must be approved and registered with relevant authorities.
