Description
The AIDS Institute intends to contract with nine organizations to work on a public health campaign promoting HIV Pre-exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP) in preparation for PrEP Aware Week, which occurs every October. The campaign has been implemented annually since October 2019 to promote awareness and uptake of PrEP. It features ambassadors across New York State who promote personalized messages about PrEP and its importance in the community. Resources include development of a graphic, slogan, giveaways, and a social media toolkit with videos, ads, and posts. Due to the unique qualifications of the selected firms, a competitive procurement was not feasible.
