Description
This solicitation seeks the development of a digital readout circuit with embedded neuromorphic processing for infrared cameras used in autonomous target acquisition and autonomous vehicles. The project aims to enhance 3GEN FLIR cameras by integrating a neuromorphic chip at the 12-micron pixel level to reduce latency and power consumption, with cryogenic cooling to 75K. The effort includes a Phase I study for chip design, Phase II for design and fabrication with testing, and Phase III for commercialization. The technology will improve target indication and reduce cognitive load on vehicle crews in cluttered and dynamic military scenarios.
