Description
The subject requirement is for the procurement of Microsoft 365 A5 software licenses currently utilized throughout National Defense University by faculty, staff and students. The software licenses are predominantly used for Academic applications and provides operating system software for servers and end user computer applications. Academic Microsoft 365 A5 for Faculty (M365 A5) includes access to both cloud and client-based access to the Microsoft Office suite of applications. In addition, Academic Microsoft 365 A5 for Faculty (M365 A5) users have access to Microsoft Teams (formerly Skype for Business), OneDrive, and OneNote.
NDU is currently utilizing Microsoft applications via the Enrollment for Educational Solutions Campus agreement. This agreement provides NDU with a managed capability via the service offerings from the current contract holder. As such, NDU is seeking to renew M365 A5 licenses that are already integrated with the student benefit capability and provides a suite of integrated tools that are already well acquainted by NDU’s faculty, staff and students and therefore considered the de facto standard for office productivity application suites within the university.
