Subject: Notice of Intent to Sole Source – Monaco Fire Alarm System Training at Dyess AFB
Description:
1. General Information The Department of the Air Force, 7th Contracting Squadron (7 CONS) at Dyess AFB, TX, intends to award a firm-fixed-price, sole-source contract to Monaco Enterprises, Inc. for the provision of specialized, in-person technical training on Monaco Fire Alarm Systems.
2. Requirement Overview The contractor shall provide comprehensive, in-person training for Dyess AFB personnel covering the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of installed Monaco Fire Alarm Systems.
3. Rationale for Sole Source Monaco Enterprises, Inc. is the Original Equipment Manufacturer and the sole owner of the proprietary technical data, software rights, and diagnostic protocols required to perform this training.
4. Statutory Authority This purchase will be made under the authority of RFO 12.102(a) "Restricting competition"
Notice of Intent to Industry 📢
This is a notice of intent to award a sole-source contract and is not a request for competitive proposals. However, any firm that believes it can meet these requirements may give written notice to the Contracting Officer.
Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirement and prove authorization to utilize proprietary Monaco software/data for training purposes. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
